How to reach Godavari Pushkaralu 2015



About Godavari River :

The Godavari is the second longest river in India after the river Ganga. It starts in Maharashtra and flows for 1,465 kilometres into the Bay of Bengal via the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

The holy river Godavari is born in Nashik , Maharashtra, India.
It flows from Nashik to south of Andhra pradesh and finally reaches Bay of Bengal at Antarvedi, Andhra Pradesh.


One can take a holy dip in any of the places where the river starts and reaches the bay of bengal.


The places are :  Nashik, Basar, Rajahmundry, etc  where the Government of India has taken special care by arranging Ghats and other convenient facilities to the piligrims.


One can reach Rajahmundry By Train or  By Bus or By Road.
Rajamundry is connected by all means of transportation.

There are even special trains PUSHKARAM SPL arranged by Indian Railways for the grand event.
